Typography & Usage
Headlines
Playfair Display, sentence case. Avoid question marks.
Bylines
Full name, credentials where relevant. Barlow, uppercase.
Numbers
Spell out one through nine; numerals from 10 up.
Em Dashes
Use freely. No space before or after—like this.
Editorial Standards
Accuracy
All factual claims require sourcing. We correct errors promptly and transparently.
Independence
No advertiser influences editorial content. Editorial and commercial operations are strictly separated.
Conflicts
Writers must disclose financial or personal relationships to subject matter. Editors decide disposition.
AI Policy
We do not publish AI-generated prose. Research and fact-checking assistance must be disclosed.
Letters
We publish letters from readers. We may edit for length and clarity. We do not publish anonymous letters.
